This is my favorite picture for today
The campers next to us were very loud and we could hear them in our motorhome talking about how they took this tour of the park and suppose to have all them bears and mooses, and cariboooos, all they ever saw was two damn seagulls.....well we got up at 5am and the bunnies were performing for US, and the tour buses
We actually saw 6 bunnies
And a seagull
This is as far as you can drive your own car in to the park, the rest of the way, 75 miles has to be taken in a park bus, we did not go on the bus, Gracie is not social enough
The second day we saw this caribou
Mount Denali is there, but it is too cloudy you can't see her, she only comes out 20% of the time, in her full entiriety, last time I was here I saw her, and it was amazing, this is where you look, she is 4 miles high and more than that wide, at over 20,000 feet she is the largest mountain in North America, when you see her you have to keep moving your head to look at her, she is that BIG

We should all learn to appreciate the bunnies and seagulls more, they really the mainstay and very reliable, the rest of them, well, it's always hit or miss, but the bunnies and gulls, steadfast!!!
Are there jackalopes up there? Perhaps jackabous? Or is Gracie the only animal in between a bunny and a caribou, sizewise? Your traveblog is wonderful and tres entertaining, as always.
I am still looking for a jackabous, Barbara from Everett,it's a good sounding name, there should be one if there isn't. And your right Barbara from Davenport Bunnies and gulls, steadfast!!!!
