Linda and Cindy are off to see the wizards in Alaska, in their new 40 foot Safari, Cheetah motorhome. Their two dogs, Prince Rainier (white standard poodle) and Princess Gracie (Goldendoodle) will be accompaning them, so if you see them don't try to come in the motorhome unless Gracie says it's OK, she's pretty particular, and she glares down from the driver's seat at everyone.

Hi Wilderness Girls,
It sure looks like Gracie is taking it easy and not one bit worried about the Alaskan Bears. She must know that you will not let anything happen to her.
Sorry to hear about your Internet connections or maybe I should say "sorry to hear that you don't have very good Internet connections". I am missing those wonderful pictures. I am sure as soon as you have "connections", you will be sharing them with us. I was so use to popping on-line and going to your blog and seeing what we did today or where we went. So this "absence" is a blow to me and a sad one at that. Boo Hoo!!!
Not much going on here except for Hurricane Dean picking up strength and speed as it heads toward Jamaica. (A friend of mine just returned from Jamaica last Sunday -- after spending a week there for their honeymoon.) I am thankful that they have returned home - safely. I saw on the news where many were trying to get off of the island per plane but all of the seats are spoken for. Hopefully, the hurricane will loose some of it's strength.
It is still very hot here. Supposed to feel like 105 degrees next week. Ugh!!!
Got to get going. My eyes are very sleepy. Stay safe.
Your friend,
Linda2
Hey Linda2, we are safe but have had a heck of a day, everything that could fall apart did, a bolt fell off of the front step, the bungee cord broke in two for the protect a tow, the wire connection ripped apart for the brake system, one of our toilets is leaking, the washer & dryer broke it's hold down and came walking out of it's closet on the road, and the worst thing was the rider's chair won't swivel back into position so that I am looking forward, I am now looking at Cindy, which is OK but I can't put my feet up without sticking them in her lap, she is not amused. All this happened in Watson Lake so we left, oh, and we didn't even have internet like they said we would. We are on a terrible road, took us all day to go a few hundred miles, but we should see some bears here, we are in the middle of no where, actually we will be in Hyde Alaska tomorrow, am looking forward to that, bears eating out of the stream there.
