Hi Wilderness Girls,
I hope the bears didn't attack you. All of those wonderful bear pictures were the last time I heard from you. Haven't heard from you for the last few days so my mind is starting to worry. I remember someone saying something about a Bigfoot being seen up that way. Just hope you didn't try to capture him. I imagine you must be busy on the road -- heading home. Anyay -- if you get this -- please send us a quick blog so we will know you are still kicking.

We are still kicking, our internet connection went away, we couldn't get back on after our first session. We stayed at Hyder in Camp Run Amuck for a week, while trying to repair the rider's seat I unbolted it and layed it on it's side, Cindy came out the door and was not used to it being on the floor and conked her head real hard on the tv, almost passed out, she fell back into the drivers seat, she was dizzy and headachy and so we stayed a few more days in Hyder. It was good, saw lots more bears and just kind of kicked back. We are on our way home now, we are at Prince George in Canada and are probably 15 hours away from home, probably make that in 2 days, could make it in one but we aren't driving in the dark now, so no hurry as far as we know. Will put more on the blog I have great stuff coming still, don't give up.
Thanks for keeping an eye on us.

By the way fixed the seat and now I am in the straight ahead position looking out the window, the cotter key broke off in the castle nut, was hard getting it out, but we got it and got it back to normal.... This connection, although it is costing me $5.95 isn't much bette, it won't let me download any pictures and it won't publish the blog I had ready to go, so don't know when you will see it, but I will get it done.

Hi Wilderness Girls,
It was good to hear from you - even if you couldn't send any pictures. I did get some pictures that were dated (Aug. 23, 2007 -- of the Fish Restaurant Bus). I am going to try the "water bags". I have never heard they will keep flies away but will try it out. Does it work on mosquitoes also? That would be great but I think those little critters breed and multiply in water - don't they? Take it easy driving home. I know you will be glad to see your dad again but it's sad to know that you won't be traveling in Alaska but hopefully you will plan another trip soon and TAKE us all along on it also. This one was so great -- the best d-a-r-n trip I have ever been on. I can't wait to see the rest of the pictures. But even if we don't receive another picture of this trip -- we have already been very blessed with the ones you sent and the narration you added with the pictures. No one could have done it any better. Who would have thought that a picture of a heron on the side of the road would have interest us -- but it did. You seem to know exactly what to take pictures of. Thank you - my friend - for taking the time to make this an interesting trip for each of us. It was the greatest!!!
