Woodstock, me and Janis

We went in to the town of Woodstock, which is not where the festival took place, they banned it to happen in their town and have been making money off it ever since. A boy talked his father into allowing the festival to be on his father's farm, 50 miles south of Woodstock, they thought no more than 200,000 would come, 500,000 were there on a rainy weekend in August 1969
Woodstock has been a place for artist to gather and live since the 1800's, Dylan lived there, along with many other famous artist. One of the men in the town told me that Woodstock is where they came after the concert and many hippies never left, it certainly looks that way.

Like I said, Janis and I were there at Woodstock.......oh yeah, Bob Marley too.
The town is busy, it would take you a day or two to go through it all, artist shops all over the place, not just about the most famous concert of all, we move on and go to take a drive through the Catskill Mountains, tomorow we are going to find where the real Woodstock took place

The leaves are changing we are seeng more reds and lots more yellows, they say the rain kept them from changing this year, but they gotta change sooner or later and they gotta fall, cause after all, it is Fall.
