Enumclaw, Farm Country Washington State

We kidnapped Willie,
she thought she was going to the store,
little did she know we were going to the feed store
in Enumclaw,
and Doctor Jane and Becky's house,
and Chuck and Jerry's farm to collect eggs,
huh!
Probably the last time she gets in the car with us. We fed her at Frugal's best burgers anywhere around, you expect to see
Whimpy hanging out here

Mount Rainier

Enumclaw, farm country,
the high plateau,
in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains

Many a pig, cow, chicken, turkey, potbellied pig, etc. were bought and sold here
by Chuck and Jerry
The World's Best Feed Store, we get all our feed here

Donwtown Enumclaw

A huge statue of an Oxen pulled wagon with logs on it is being built here

This horse was sculpted by a friend of ours, we were there for the unveiling

The Enumclaw Hospital

Jane and Becky's house, in Enumclaw

Chuck and Jerry's house, in Enumclaw The Lakota Farm

The patio between the garage and house

Willie is straw bossing these nests

Looking for a good place to lay

Busy pecking away

Don't think he knows Thanksgiving is a couple weeks away, doesn't look too worried

Smells a little dead!

Just a month ago this garden had corn 6 feet tall, pumpkin vines squirreling around underneath everything with pumpkins not as big as last year but still pumpkins, zuchinni to die for, tomatoes, and many, many more vegetables. The farm is on well water so they go down to the creek with these water barrels and get the water for their garden, the roof gutters help out a little bit also.

Picture Jerry on his riding lawn mower, Chuck weeding the garden, horses to the left and in the back, chickens, roosters, turkeys, three dogs and who knows how many barn cats.

Let's go here!!!!

I've thought and thought of the direction to go on this blog,
we are back from Alaska,
not going anywhere soon,
so I am going to show you my home,
Auburn, Washington,
and things around here.

We've got no bears, that I'm aware of, but we've got lots of other things to see and do.

Come see them with us,

I think we'll have some fun.

Of Course, we are home now, where do we go from here?

Moma is crossing the road,
baby bear goes back,
too afraid

We stop in the middle of the road to let cubs cross over to their mother

Moma's watching cubs, good thing we are in the motorhome

Cub decides not to cross road right now

Cubs trying to figure out how to cross the road

Bears everywhere!

Cindy sees a group of bears

Moma bear thinks her cubs are in back of her

Moma bear pretends to eat grass when actually she is keeping a close eye on our motorhome as her cubs cross the road

I don't know what the red is, not like it's film or anything, kind of in the shape of a shoe though, do you think that means anything?

My close up of the ticks on the bears back

Not very concerned about us at all

He just turns around and glances at us

We wanted to warn this man, about all the bears we saw, but then realized
he saw them first

We were to see this train many times in Canada

Our look through the windshield

The Frazer River, known for it's whitewater

This train tunnel is many miles away

We seem to follow the train much of the way through Canada

The pine beetle has devastated the trees in
Southwest Canada

The train follows the Frazer River

The river runs through this canyon between Hope and the US border at Vancouver

Hell's Gate has a tram over the river and offer's challanging river rafting

Elvis is alieve and well in Canada

There are 7 major tunnels in the Hell's Gate area

Rainbow, the moose we won in Montana,
kept look out for the whole trip

We had to wait almost two hours in line at the US Border, nothing going on, just bad planning for lines

Gracie is home.....and in my chair

Timmy grew, and he grew and grew...
We got home just in time to be invited to a BBQ at
Ken and Scotts house, there is also a guest house off to the left

Ken and Scott built this horse barn, they have no horses but the goats enjoy their nights here

This is Scott, one of the owners of this house

It reminded me of a church I had been in, needed a cross in the window though, must be hard to heat all that space

Isn't this the most amazing wood stove you have ever seen, and they had two of them!

Scott and Ken are raising goats, there is a recent surge in goat consumption

This is Rainbow Bill,
Head of Rainbow RV in Washington State,
and Clark (from Kent),
no relation to the other Clark Kent

This was not planned, someone noticed that the shorts this guy had on had a pattern that put a nuclear symbol in a strategic place, I thought he was very accomondating to me when I asked to take a picture of it

Gracie is actually sitting on Timmy's head, guess she has to reestablish the dominancy thing

Gracie is happy, she's home and has many acres to roam around in and field mice to play with
